Art and Tech Hub for Kids (Register for FREE here)
Welcome to Witty Ditty's Art 'n' Tech Hub. Do your kids love art and tech? Great because we do too, so we combine the two!
Over the term during weekly project-based sessions, we'll keep the children occupied with fun activities after school, and help them develop their artistic, critical thinking, STEAM*, and computer skills.
Every four weeks over the school term in a COVID secure space in the Marcus Garvey Children's Library, they'll do creative projects making cool stuff, designed on computers, and built using tech tools and ‘recycled household junk’.
Kids will create 3D models that light up, create art that can make sounds, and build fun techy gadgets that move around, using simple circuits, electronics, 3D printing pens, and a lot of imagination. All our activities combine creative art, maker-craft, 3D design, and tech.
Over a full term the kids will explore:
- 3D design
- 3D pen printing and air drawing
- 3D/2D animation
- Digital design
- Maker-craft + technology (using Recycled materials)
- How to make circuits
- Augmented reality art
- Applying batteries and motors, and so much more...
All equipment such as computers, 3D print pens, 3D printers, and maker-craft materials are included in the price. (Occasionally we may ask for a small contribution towards cell batteries, copper tape and lights.)
Please note that 10% discount concession rates are available for siblings and other special circumstances.
Please also note a 20% discount is available for booking a full-term in advance.
